I have more than 10 years of experience as a written communications professional. I strive to be
accurate, detailed, and meet deadlines.

I have experience covering a variety of topics including engineering, manufacturing, the nonprofit
pharmacy sector, pharmacy legislation, Medicare/Medicaid, fine arts, environmental issues,
building and architecture issues, and animal issues.

Some of the organizations I have worked for include the National Association of Boards of
Pharmacy, Reed Business Information, and Pioneer Press.

Research and interviewing are my strong suits -- I enjoy learning about the topic and talking with
industry experts to gain insight into the topic.

I have experience writing documents of all lengths -- from short press releases to 1,000+ detailed
newsletter articles. I have experience writing speeches, scripts, and press releases. I consider
myself very detail-oriented and am familiar with the American Hospital Association and Associated
Press editing styles.

Currently, I am a freelance writer/editor for a variety of publications including
www.GreenSpaceToday.com.

Listed below are some links to pieces I have written. Please note, any article written for the NABP
Newsletter  and the Illinois Foundation for Quality Health Care's Quality Insider will not have my
byline because that was the organization's policy for their newsletters -- they wanted the newsletter
to have a universal "feel" to it, so they didn't have bylines.
